An average person who lives to 80 years will take about 672,768,000 breaths.
We breathe predominantly through the subconscious brain without awareness however breathing may be intentional, as when driving, or doing breathing exercises.
Do you know that #Breathing is a great relaxing and grounding exercise?
Yes! Breathing helps reduce #stress and #anxiety.
So, Let’s breathe!
All you have to do is to sit in a comfortable position and inhale slowly and deeply through the nose for 4 seconds, hold for few seconds and exhale slowly through pursed lips for 8 seconds and repeat for 5 to 10 minutes.
Mindful Breathing also brings us to the present moment of here and now!
